The Corn Poppy

I am a very lucky girl who has a very talented sister-in-law.
I have a print of The Corn Poppy by Kees van Dongen. I bought it at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas several years ago and it still adorns my home. I can't tell why but I simply adore this painting.
Now look what my sister in law made me for my birthday. It's made of paper clay and it takes my breath away. All the love that went into making it (for me) touches me deeply. I can't stop looking at it.
It's not the first thing she made for me. Not even the first with the Corn Poppy theme. But this one just tops them all. I had to share it with you all.
Thank you my dear S.
