Northwest USA Trip - Hells Canyon, Idaho // 14

Another pretty amazing place was Hells Canyon in Idaho. Unfortunately, here too the smokey air from wildfires covered most of what could have been great views. Still the area has been well worth the visit and while previous wildfires provide esthetics of its own beauty, it is also soothing to see that nature brings back life in the end.

The first day brought us to Heavens Gate Vista Point. We could only imagine the beautiful view of the Seven Devils Mountains that we could barely make out at the horizon. Instead we enjoyed the immediate view around us and a lovely chat with the fire looker.

The second day we went hiking along Snake River. Still very reduced views due to the smoke but the river's name got honored!
